Tussah Silk Roving Lime green and beige for spinning or crafts

This listing is for .9 oz. of 100% Hand Dyed Natural Tussah Silk.

I hand dyed it with lime green and a small amount of golden brown professional acid dyes. The natural honey color of the silk gives it a warm feeling. *I have more of this colorway in another listing.

This roving is a great choice for blending or spinning on it's own and is also ideal for weaving and all kinda of fiber work.

Tussah silk has a very long staple (5+ inches) it is very strong, lustrous, and more resilient than cultivated "White" silks.

Silk does not felt on it's own but can be added to your felt projects for effect and to add texture.

I absolutely LOVE spinning with it!
