This shoulder bag is made from a luxurious Harris Tweed wool!

The main body of this purse is made from Harris Tweed wool in a blue, gray, cream and brown/red weave. I purchased this lovely fabric from my local fabric store in NYC. Harris Tweed is a luxury cloth that has been handwoven by the islanders on the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, using local wool. The applique is made from gray ultrasuede fabric and was designed by me, hand cut and machine sewn onto the purse. The flap has a magnetic closure and is adorned by a wood button. The purse is fully lined in a lovely cotton print fabric by Robert Kaufmann in gold, gray and blue. There are two interior pockets and a key clip to keep your things organized.

This shoulder bag is made with three layers of interface, two layers of fusible and one layer of thick stabilizer, to add lots of structure and durability. This is a structured purse that holds its shape.
