Hand Dyed Uruguayan Merino, 100g Worsted Wt Yarn - MYSTIQUE

Description

"Prismatic Worsted/Aran" yarn in shades of red-purple, gray, and black. Hand dyed in a variegated manner (3 sections of color), this colorway is called "Mystique."

Spun from luxuriously soft Uruguayan merino wool, this 3-ply yarn is perfect for next-to-skin and baby items such as hats, scarves, and wool diaper covers. This base yarn is not superwash and may also be used for felting. Each skein in this dyelot is 100g and approximately 218 yds. There are 2 skeins in this dyelot that could be used together for a larger project like longies (wool pants for cloth diapering).

All my yarns & rovings are dyed using professional acid dyes. As with all hand dyed products, there may be some unexpected mixing of colors or visible component colors. That is why each dyelot lot is an OOAK.

I’ve attempted to accurately capture the colors, but different monitors may display shades that vary from the actual color of the yarn. You can be assured that the dyes are colorfast, but I always recommend hand washing in cold water. In the unlikely event that any color leaches in the wash water, it is merely fugitive (extra) dye that will not harm the overall color.
