An Excellent Russian Pilot - a steampunk necklace - Brooch by ClockworkZero

A long time ago I collected a few Russian military badges and have decided to make some of them (a very few) into some wonderful Steampunk jewelry. There won't be a lot of these (I did one last year).

This Russian pin - brooch - has been turned into a necklace but it can easily be converted by you back into a brooch by simply removing the chain.

It has a lovely shield shape to the brooch and the colors are fantastic. If you love military jewelry, or fancy yourself a steampunk pilot, or just love the idea of flight then this piece will be perfect for you. The bright light blue has a darker gray border, and of course the red star of Russia looks perfect.

I've added the silver-tone droplets and a small antique finished plane at the bottom. There is a tiny watch gear there too, taken from a vintage watch, which looks like a propeller. You will also notice the little winged propeller in the brooch down at the bottom. Its about 2.5 inches long or so.

It comes on a nickel-free simple chain that is about 15.5 inches long - but it has an adjustment chain so you can make it a bit longer too... simply clasp it anywhere along the extension chain.

The brooch back is in good condition. There are a few scratches on the surface but nothing really to be worried about. It is a old original brooch but I've no real idea of when it was made - before the 90s says my Russian friend.
