This listing is for .8 oz. of 100% Hand Dyed Natural Tussah Silk.

I hand dyed it with lime green and royal blue. The natural honey color of the silk peeks through. This will give you a beautiful soft blue-green yarn if you are a spinner.

Tussah silk has a very long staple (5+ inches) it is very strong, lustrous, and more resilient than cultivated "White" silks.

Silk does not felt on it's own but can be added to your felt projects for effect and to add texture. I absolutely LOVE spinning with it.
