No, not like small potato chips... this little guy has 2 little chips on the lid so he is marked down $8 less to the price of $10.50. I fire them wiht the lds on and sometimes I do not get all the glaze wiped off and it makes the the lid stick a little and then chip as the glaze breaks. Still totally usable and I sanded the chips down, so no sharp edges, but he still has them, so you get him on sale! Yay!
This new little design is perfect for so many different things, I can't figure out what to classify him as...
He would make an excellent creamer and great sugar or honey pot, a salt cellar or spice jar or it can hold your change and/or jewelry! Really, he has so may uses and he is so darned cute!
Glazed in a blue-with-flashes of brown and purple glaze.
He measures about 4" wide and about 3.5" tall (without horns). He holds about 6 fl. ounces comfortably.
It was hand-thrown on the wheel as a closed form and then altered (not like altered like one does to a dog, but altered like eyes and arms added...). He is also food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe.
He has his name (Mottle) his number (1218), the skeletaldropkick logo, the date and my signature on the bottom.
