Peacock Gypsy

Description

This headwrap is inspired by one of my favorite bands DeVotchKa, and indie band that fuses Romani, Greek, Slavic, and Mariachi music with punk undertones.

This is the fourth piece in my series of gypsy/fortune teller headwraps. The first was so popular at a show that I attended that 4 women wanted it, and it went for more then I was asking. They are gorgeous on.

This piece is made out of black crushed velvet, on the reverse side is a lovely satin fabric that is tie-dyed in shades of green, wrinkled, and has small sequins scattered throughout. On the side is a large soft green rhinestone buckle. Through it weaves a black ostrich feather, and a hand curled peacock feather. The feathers arer easily removed and replaced. This piece is reversible.
