Have you ever wished you could make one of those cute boutique pillowcase dresses for your little girl? Or maybe you would like to make them and sell them? My pattern, which includes over 25 full color illustrations, will help you work through the steps to make this dress easily. There is no full-sized pattern to deal with--because a full sized pattern is NOT NEEDED!! It's so easy that you can cut out this dress using a rotary cutter, mat, and grid ruler. I do include a cutting "guide" for the cutting the armhole shape. Once you get started, you'll want to make many!!

This pillowcase dress or top pattern has instructions for children’s sizes 3 months to girls size 8. It includes the following:

--Pattern instructions are written by a business/home ec teacher with 40+ years of sewing experience (me!)

--Includes a cutting guide for the armhole--NOT a full size cutting pattern. A full sized cutting pattern is not necessary. This dress can be cut using a rotary cutter, mat, and grid ruler. These tools may need to be purchased if you do not already own them.

--Many time saving sewing technique are fully illustrated using actual color photographs—so it is great for beginning sewers!

--Sewing techniques illustrated include making your own matching fabric bias binding, making matching fabric ties, adding a contrasting border, and using an actual pillowcase.

--Fabric yardage requirements for the following sizes:

Babies 3-18 months
Toddlers 2T-6T
Girls 6, 7, & 8

Pillowcase dresses are usually worn as tea-length dresses, however, the dresses can be worn shorter or as tops—depending on the length. You can make your dress for any of the above sizes using this pattern. I'd be happy to answer any questions at any time!!
