Brown, Felted Wool Purse

Description

This fun purse was made from a wool sweater rescued from the thrift store.

The sweater was washed, felted and sewn into a functional, stylish purse!

It has wool felt, flower appliques embroidered with wool crewel yarn. It is lined with cotton fabric. I has a magnetic snap closure. Inside, it has 2 pockets and a stiff piece of plastic canvas to reinforce the bottom.

It measures:

10" height, 12" width, bottom width is 3". The 1.5" wide handles are approximately 27" long with a 13" drop - just the right length to wear over your shoulder.

Please wash this purse by hand in cool water. This will prevent further shrinking and will protect the hand embroidery details. Shape and hang or lay flat to dry.
