Rich silk velvet drawstring bag with a screenprinted spider on hand dyed cotton linen. Velvet drawstring has a hand built and hand dyed cotton linen bauble at each end. The eight pointed star reflects the eight legs of the spider.

Something I noticed this summer was the amazing strength of a spider's web as it held it's own against the incredible force of wind and rain that struck our area. Sinister though some people may find them, I have nothing but admiration for these magical weavers of the natural world. Their spinning and weaving abilities are an inspiration to me, hence the name Inkyspider.
