Muse No. 2The 9 Muses of Greek mythology were said to have inspired all creative activities in the human world.
She represents Terpischore, the muse of dance and dramatic chorus
Her name means "delight of dancing". In some myths she is said to be the mother of the Sirens whose father was Achelous.
She is depicted here with grapes, an attribute of Bacchus as well as a symbol of mirth, assistance, union & friendship
