Blue Poinsettia- Flared 11 inch Bowl
Description
Yippee! A new design. Yes, I'm calling this poinsettia, even though it's blue. Hey, I'm in charge here- I do what I want.11" bowl was handthrown on the wheel using fine English Grolleg porcelain.
The piece is wired for hanging display, but is also safe to use with food, in the dishwasher, and in the microwave.
Decorated by carving through a layer of handmade dark blue slip, the bowl was covered in a clear glaze and fired to 2380 degrees F (cone 10).
Though I will repeat my designs, each is one of a kind, as each piece is carved freehand.
