Dove's Cry Cocktail Ring

Description

Using a wire-wrapping technique, I wove wire and bead together to create this striking, statement-making, cocktail ring. The semiprecious stone is a opaque dove gray.

Once called dinner rings, these large oversized rings are always in fashion if you're a fan of bodacious baubles.

Cocktail rings were really popular during Prohibition at illegal cocktail parties, where it was the thing to flaunt the fact that you were drinking with style.

The ring fits size 7. The bead is about 16 mm. The wire is silverplate. This ring can be recreated in any size. I take commission orders.
