Description

nearly too precious for words, the centerpiece of this eclectic necklace is an antique brass advertising watch fob compass for "Twinkies" shoes.

the whimsical fob features a raised relief image of a chubby cheeked little tyke leapfrogging over a working compass.
the reverse of the fob reads:
"Always in the right direction with Twinkies 'happy shoes for busy feet' Hamilton Brown Shoe Co."

the fob measures 1.75" long and just over 1" wide.

an elegant chain comprised of vintage brass filigree links with steel cut embellishment, vintage book chain, an assortment of golden, silver, black, and crystal beads, barrel links, and wide twisted oval link brass chain supports the fob

the necklace is secured with a gold-filled lever clasp removed from an antique watch fob necklace

total length of the necklace is 25"
