Autumn Leaves - Multi Gem and Sterling Silver Earrings

Description

These earrings were my entry into the Eclectic Artisans Team "Fall Festival" Challenge. The earrings; hand formed and meticulously wrapped with sterling silver, are made to resemble leaves in the Fall. Each gemstone in this piece was chosen to reflect the colors and felling of Autumn.

The focal stone, which hangs from the "stem" of the leaf is a mystic apricot Quartz, reminiscent of the golden aspen leaves that fall in the New Mexico Mountains. The tips of the leaves are encrusted with color changing Andalucite, Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, and pink and green Tourmaline.

These earring defy being set for one time of day they are a great compliment to almost any outfit.
