Description
This supercoil yarn is some of the most fantastic and unusual artyarn that you will probably ever use. Inspired by the light pastels of after dinner mints, this supercoiled yarn is 23 yards of squiggly wonder and weighs a whopping 4.5 ounces/126 grams. The yarn is a mixture of wools, mohair, bamboo, tencel, banana fiber and some metallic tencel. I dyed most of the fiber myself. It is spun around a thin white cotton core yarn. This is extremely bulky yarn, good for knitting on size US19 and up. Also, this yarn would make great necklaces and jewelry!The sample was knit on size 15US needles. Only 5 stitches were cast on and it's over 4" square! The sample has sections of both garter and stockinette stitches.
