Needle Felted Flower Brooch - Lilac Haze

This flower brooch is made from wool roving using the needle felting process. The entire piece is sculpted and formed using the felting needle. Only the leaves and pin back have been sewn.

Wool roving in shades of heathered grey, lilac and a dusty pink berry color are combined to create this handmade 3 dimensional felted flower. These shades of wool roving needle felted together, create a flower that is full of texture and color. Soft green felt fabric are used to create the leaves. A wool herringbone button in coordinating gray make up the flower center. This needle felted flower is a very chunky piece and will definitely stand out against whatever you pin it to. Perfect colors for any season!

Depending on where you measure the flower, the diameter is about 3.5" -that is not including the leaves. It measures roughly 1 1/2" high. The flower is securely attached to a pin back.
