I have this same BEGINNER LEVEL pattern up to Adult sizes:
Adult: pattern number 84 (Headband 22 inches)
Ages 12 to 16: pattern number 85 (Headband 20 inches)
Ages 5 to 12: pattern number 86 (Headband 18 inches)
Newborn to age 5: pattern number 87 )Headbands 12 to 17 inches)

The pattern is made flat, and then sewn up with a back seam.
That makes it very easy for beginners to make. (See some of the other listings to view a photo of the flat finished piece.)
