These are the new 6x6 in blocks not to be confused with the 4x4's

This series was shot in early 2007 in New York City. I became fascinated with all the abandoned bikes in various stages of neglect, left chained to random things along the sidewalks all over the city. It seemed like every neighborhood i went in i would find at least one and sometimes more, it got to the point were i would seek them out, noticing bikes as i was riding in a car then remembering where they were so i could photograph them later.
