Welcome to Jeanniesbeads on Etsy. I had a blast playing with ivory, racu, and silver glass this past week - the result I'm showing today is another focal - a generous 35 x 14 mm. Two ivory spacers are included, although not shown in the pictures. This focal starts with a base of ivory to which silvered ivory and gaia have been introduced. After melting and marvering it to a barrel shape, I've then created little "waves" where the gaia and ivory meet. It's really neat to watch the glass move when it's is an almost liquid state.

All beads on my sight are made by me in my home studio, located in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada.

I use is Effetre, Vetrofond and ASK glass. All beads are kiln annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for durability and long life . My beads are individually inspected and holes are cleaned to get rid of excess bead release. Please keep in mind that the beads are glass, and therefore should be handled carefully and can be a choking hazard to small children. Just a note, the only editing I do to my pictures is to adjust the brightness and contract, desaturate the background (sometimes), and to crop them to a size that is easily uploaded onto web sites. I do not adjust for color.
