Please note that this particular piece is made to order. Because this is a very busy time I am going to ask for two weeks to get the locket into the mail. I like making them though so not to worry.

Locket - Hand-sculpted putty and hand-painted glass eye. I have been working with this material for 20 years and it is really strong. You can shower with it on. It's really solid. It is not fimo nor sculpty which I find too soft for usable items.

The brass locket will house two photos and has the satisfying "click" of a sturdy locket. I hand stamped the patterns.

This locket comes on an sturdy nice looking 24 inch chain.

The locket measures an 1 inch long and about an inch wide.

I made this piece here in NYC.


The eye watches out for ill intent and deflects evil or so the ancients say.


More specifically, Mediterranean folk believe(d) that jealousy toward oneself is(was) the cause of bad luck. This symbol wards against this.

It was used in particular to protect children from the jealous eye of the passerby.

Today the symbol of the eye can be seen though out the Arab world protecting homes,businesses and even taxi cabs.

International shipping is not a problem. It seems to take about a week for pieces to arrive safely in Europe.
