Petite silvery blue on ruby red fused dichroic glass dangles
Description
The dichroic glass in these earings sparkles with various shades of blue and silver. The deep red base glows beautifully with the light shining through. They are wrapped in copper wire and hang from hand formed copper earwires. Glass measures 3/8" across.A free gift box is available upon request. My dichroic earings capture the light beautifully from every angle. They are perfect if you are looking for a special gift, or just something for yourself.
Dichroic means two colors, the name comes from the fact that it can transmit one color while reflecting another. Each one is unique and can not be exactly replicated. I will cut and layer dichroic glass together with fusible art glass in various combinations of color and patterns, sometimes kiln firing several times to achieve the desired effect. All my glass is photographed in natural light so some reflections may occur.
