Description
four raku houses each measures about 20mm high x 12-14mm wide and about 7-9mm thick. The hole for stringing is about 1-2mm and runs top to bottom and is pretty well centered in each bead. One free bead is included in this sale.The raku process produces surface irregularities and can produce small chips and crazing and thermal shock lines. Raku produces soot most of which can be washed off, but some remains. I have rinsed, soaked and washed all beads with baking soda then filed areas that were too rough. The black coloration is absorbed into the surface of the bead and ranges in color from black to light gray. All clay beads are breakable. These are new beads
