Treasure Chest

Description

A chest filled with treasure is overflowing with jewels. It's enough to make any pirate or lover of gems drool. Mouth watering precious and semi precious stones are spilling out, revealing their rich and vibrant colors.

I wire wrapped this square frame by hand, coiling and twisting various gauges of sterling silver wire. The metal was then oxidized to bring out the detail in the wire work. Cascading from the top of the pendant are jewel tones of beer quartz, iolite, peridot, citrine and the very rare chrome diopside. They are all represented in various cuts. Every bit of them is high quality and perfectly faceted to let their clarity sparkle like no tomorrow.

The pendant has a diameter of 35mm (just under 1 1/2"). It's suspended by a double, oxidized sterling silver chain. The chain length is 16" adjustable up to 18 1/2". This length can be changed for a custom fit. A hexagon cut of golden citrine and another drop of peridot and iolite stones dangle from the end of the extension chain.
