THE PATTERN:

6 pages of instructions with a gazillion photos and drawings to help you construct this brush roll.

materials needed:

fat quarter (22” X 18”) of quilting weight cotton for exterior
fat quarter (22” X 18”) of quilting weight in coordinating pattern for interior
half-yard of cotton batting
1 spool of cotton thread in coordinating color

THE BRUSH ROLL:

I was sick of digging for brushes in a drawer, and sick of smashing them all up together in a case when I traveled (brushes aren't cheap!). This brush roll is great for everyday use as well as traveling... problem solved!

a layer of batting is applied to maintain shape and PROTECT your investment (the uber expensive brushes). it's perfect for standard length brushes (up to 7") or the gift sizes (~4"). It measures 11" wide by 8" tall. Slots are either 1.5" or 1", with a special side slot that's wide enough for tweezers etc.

Leave it flat on a counter or in a drawer, or roll it up to go. Either way, brushes are safe and look GREAT!
