The Hemp Lotus Spinny Skirt

Description

I made this fun skirt from a beautiful, hand dyed, hemp muslin. I used brown and purple low impact dyes to create a nice mottles color. It's a lightweight muslin and is light and airy, similar in weight to a high quality quilters cotton. I also used a pretty Amy Butler cotton with a lotus design. I am in love with this fabriC! The fabrics are so beautiful alone that I left the skirt fairly simple.

5 tiers in all make this sucker super spinny and fun to dance in. This skirt has a ton of flair! Great for belly dance, hoopin' or just looking unique and cute! Huge spin looks amazing while dancing! Drawstring waist ties at the back for adjustability and you can put all the extra fabric at the back for a romantic bustle effect.

Measurements:
Waist: opens to 54" cinches down nicely on all sizes smaller than that.
Hips: opens to 54"
Length: 37" can be hemmed if needed.
Spin: 152"
