blushing pods lariat necklace

i just finished a few recent organic necklaces that are inspired by pods, twigs, leaves, seeds and flowers. a simple statement to honor autumn...

hand forged bumpy copper pods are finished with a blush of pale aqua and peach torch fired enamel- with a rustic appeal. tiny fine copper beads (or berries) circle the top half of the one of the pods, which measure approximately 10mm x10mm each . pods are open and stacked for movement on an oxidized sterling stem, and hang at the ends of an oxidized sterling silver chain.

please note that the photo shows one slightly smaller pod-- i'm now making the pods the same size so they both look like the larger of the pods..

to wear, simply fold one chain over the other as if you were going to tie a knot. pods dangle in a sweet little cluster. the necklace is a total of 21" long ( including pods on stems). adjust as you prefer.
