Mottled Blue Votive Holder

Description

All that wasted surface area.... But the blue glaze creates a lot of variation to look at. It dried before I could get the leaf imprints on it.

This votive candle holder is made of white stoneware clay fired to cone 6. It is completely glazed with a blue mottled glaze. It has a satin finish and it has a lot of variation. It is mostly light blue, but has dark blue streaks and speckles. It is tan where the glaze was thinner.

The holder stands 1 and 13/16 inches tall. The rim spans 5 inches across. The interior base measures 1 and 3/8 inches across. The exterior base measures 2 inches across.
