Inspired by one of my favourite and unfortunately defunct television shows, Carnivale.

I wanted to emulate the desolation that was the American Dustbowl in the 1930s; farmlands going to waste and blowing away in 60mph winds, while 'Okies' had to relocate to different cities across the United States to start themselves over. Thus is the setting for this television show; a background that seemed to be the Apocalypse for some devout believers, and for two forces of good an evil to no longer deny their inner power and unleash it ... while the world is still unaware of what potential these powers have.

Pretty deep, eh?

I've used picture jasper, bronzite, and a 'mystery stone' that was in my stash. It fit well, so why not? The pendant features a small Hanged Man tarot behind green faceted glass, with sun and moon charms hanging on either side; the prolific symbolism for light and dark, also featured in the Carnivale logo.

A little note: the Hanged Man represents one who is aware of the conscious and subconscious; the earthly realm and the spiritual. He is aware of himself and what is around him, heightening his enlightenment and understanding of what could be beyond the realm of the soul.
