Spiral Flower Braided Patchwork Corset Skirt

Description

A lovely skirt, bursting with fall colors. I used a yellow cotton printed with brown and burgundy flowers for the base. The braided patchwork band in the ruffle is from buttery yellow, burgundy, and warm brown quilters cottons.
On the front of the skirt is a large burgundy flower with spiral shaped petals, each outlined in shiny scarlet thread.

The best feature of this skirt is the side corset ties. The long ties pull through a casing above the laces, taking up extra fabric in a very nice way, which leaves the front and back of the waist to lay flat. You can adjust the size so the skirt can be worn on its own, or layered over a petticoat or yoga pants.

Waist opens to 40" and can be tightened to 28"
