citysong enamel earrings / black and gold

Description

a little bit of yinzer pride shown in my abstract line drawing of the pittsburgh skyline. the shape of the ppg building is fairly unmistakable but everything else is up for interpretation.

1" (2.54 cm) copper discs have been enameled with onyx black and 24k fired gold paint. these are real microns of gold that have been fired onto the enamel so no need to worry about the image fading or rubbing off over time.

the back is counter-enameled and oxidized for a velvet/charcoal kinda look.

ear wires are 14k gold-fill. this means that the gold-plating is at least 1/20th the weight of the metal of the overall piece. (gold-plated items, on the other hand, have a lower gold thickness of only .15-.25 mils). if you would prefer sterling or surgical steel, please include a note to seller with you purchase.
