Chameleon - Kettle Dyed Cotton Sock Yarn - 130g

Description

I was going to give this yarn a rainforest-y name because of all the greens, but what it really reminds me of is a chameleon! There are many shades of green and a bit of blue/aqua too.

This is a "fat" skein weighing 130g/4.59oz with a length of approximately 610m/667 yards - so you get 30% extra. There should be enough here for a pair of adult socks as well as 1-2 pairs of kids socks, or possibly even 2 pairs of adult socks, depending on their size.

This yarn is a 4-ply/fingering weight. It is Lana Grossa brand, made in Germany, a blend of 41% cotton, 39% wool, 13% polyamide and 7% elasthane - it is "round" and very stretchy! It is machine washable at up to 40ºC. Recommended needle size is between 2.5mm-3mm/US size 1-3.

Please note that this is a double-stranded skein, which will allow you to wind the yarn into two identical balls.
