legend has it that these original prints by the gifted austrian artist ida bohatta morpurg were produced in the 1930's by verlag ars sacra on a seven color press that no longer exists.

originally printed as greeting cards, a message inside reads - "frohliche weihnachten! gluckliches neues jahr!" (merry christmas! happy new year!). this print features a narrow orange-red border. the colors and details are rich, the images sweetly innocent. the supply is dwindling. they will never be made this way again.

prints measure: 3 1/2 inches square (9 cm) on substantial original paper
