Stock up on eco-friendly sew-in labels before the holiday item making rush! Upcycled jersey knit labels are perfect to label your items for the labeling laws. Your information is applied with a washable iron on transfer.

The order form will ask for the information you want on the tags (and specify what goes on the front and back). It will let me know what you'd like for label options:
★ what direction do you want the sew in edge? On the top, bottom, left or right.
★ do you want the back of the label turned upside down? (This option is great for shirt tags that you flip up to read the back of the label for care instructions.)

If by chance you forget to fill out the form - no problem. I'll send you the link or we'll convo back and forth for the info I need to make your labels. ;)

For example this is what I put on my tags for the toys I sell in my other shop, in order to conform with the CPSIA laws:
★ Front side - My shop name (for my other store), slogan, and a VERY small image.
★ Back side - Item contents, shop web address, and city, state and country (I write the creation date of my items in a permanent pigment marker on the iron on transfer. For me this is the best way, since I don't make many items at a time and I can print and make many labels at once so they are ready to sew into future items.)

You could also have wash and care instructions, ideas for use, sizes, or what ever else you need on your tags.

★ See the last image for a selection of fonts that will work well with labels. The fonts for small type are best for areas like the back of a label when you're trying to get the most text in the label area. Fonts that can be used for larger text are nice for things like shop names.

★★ Other sizes, colors and fonts available on request. Custom sizes are $3 more. ★★

Please note when washing, blacks will lighten slightly to a dark green. Fairly common for transfer images. But other wise color fast after many washings. I tried 7 different material and printing variations for tags and this was the most color fast, soft and lasting option.
