This is A gorgeous pair of Hand Carved Ebonised Walnut Hair Sticks which would function equally well as Shawl or Scarf Pins. The Sticks measure about 5 3/4" in total length and they are about 1/4" diameter at the thickest point. I have finished them with the same process I use on my Baby products. I have sanded them smooth, wet them down to raise the grain and re sanded them several times. I then apply A finish of Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil and Orange Wax and the end result is A Silky Smooth finish which is very durable and water resistant.
