Handwoven Lemongrass Scarf

Description

Handwoven in shades of off-white/ivory, lemongrass and soft greens, peacock and sky blue with subtle hints of pumpkin, brown/grey and golden yellow including variegated kettle-dyed silk/merino yarn. This lightweight scarf varies in pattern ("German Bird's Eye") from zig zags and ribs to diamonds.

This scarf was patiently woven by hand using a slow, detail oriented process taking 6-10 hours to complete. I am always inspired by new color variations and patterns; no two scarves are the same!

SIZE: 62 inches X 11 inches (This includes approximately 3 inches of fringe on each end).

WARP: off-white, latte and brown cotton
WEFT: Shades of ivory and other neutrals, green, blue, brown, grey and pale yellow merino/silk blend, pima cotton, wool, alpaca and acrylic blends

CARE: This scarf will most likely felt if washed in warm/hot water. Hand wash in cool water and dry flat. Use a pressing cloth when ironing, if needed.
