Shoreline - Sterling silver earrings, artisan boro lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals

I have a favorite beach I like to walk on crisp fall days. It’s usually empty. Who in their right mind in Chicago would be found strolling along the waters edge when the temps dip below freezing. There’s something magical about the organic browns of the rocks and the tans of the sand as they meet the waves. These boro beads have that feel to them. Accent beads include swarovski crystals and rondels. Total length 2" measured from the top of the sterling ear hook to bottom of the last crystal. All metal is sterling silver.


Borosilicate beads are beautiful in any light but their colors are more intense in direct light.

*A little info on the focal beads featured in my jewelry. The lamp work/boro are the creations of some of USA’s finest glass artists and the furnace beads are primarily from David Christensen, Carrie Matthews, Glass Art Works and Mingo and Asho. US furnace beads have much greater detail and richness of color then the usually seen imports. All the lampwork beads have been properly kiln annealed.
