Grey and White Kitty Cat Face with Blue Eyes Suncatcher
Description
Adorable stained glass kitty cat face ornament suncatcher is crafted using grey gray and white glass along with aqua blue glass globs for the eyes. The pupils have been hand painted using black enamel paint. This kitty has pale pink ears and a very pink nose. This blue eyed kitty face measures 4 3/4" tall by 4 1/2" wide (12cm by 11.5cm).All of the stained glass pieces except for the glass globs have been handcut and assembled in the Tiffany method using copper foil and solder. The entire face has been wrapped with lead with a loop soldered to the back and about 4" of chain included to hang this kitty cat right away. The metals (solder and lead) have been darkened with black patina.
The eyes will get you! With a little bit of sunlight they sparkle and shine and they seem to follow you around the room.
