"Fake" is such a terrible word. This silky soft and affordable fiber is said to come from a rare and elusive herd of synthetic goats.This is 2 oz of hand-dyed faux cashmere. It's super soft and feel similar to cashmere, but it is actually 100% nylon. It has a nice sheen and it's really quite fun to spin- less tricky then cashmere since it has a longer staple length.
I dyed this in browns and mauve pinks with professional quality acid dyes in my "Fauxy Lady" colorway. The pink photographed a little paler than the actual color.
