Spindle-spun foursome in natural wools - handspun yarn

Description

These lovely skeins were all spindle spun by Amelia Garripoli, author of Productive Spindling (wait, that's me!) -- here's a chance to get samples of my own spindling a few of my favorite wools!

Their details:
Top skein: 3-ply Romeldale wool, ~ 30 yards, 1/2 ounce, navajo plied, ~ 12 wraps per inch (double knitting weight, CYCA3), natural brown

Second skein: 2-ply Hog Island wool (rare breed!) ~ 35 yards, 1/2 ounce, ~ 10 wraps per inch (worsted weight, CYCA4), natural cream with some flecks of kemp color (red and dark brown)

Third skein: 2-ply Cormo/Rambouillet cross wool (super soft!) ~ 86 yards, 1 ounce, ~ 10 wraps per inch (worsted weight, CYCA4), natural brown.

Fourth skein: 3-ply California Variegated Mutant/Romeldale mix wool (very springy!), ~ 20 yards, 0.4 ounces, navajo plied, 12 wraps per inch (double knitting weight, CYCA3), natural grey

So you can see a nice variety -- 50 yards DK weight, 121 yards worsted weight, total about 2.4 ounces. An interesting bunch of skeins for scrumblers or to accent your next project with some natural handspun goodness!

These are all feltable wools, so recommended care would be handwash cool, dry flat. They are also dyable, and each will take the color differently due to their own natural shade!
