Dend alexandrae x phalaenopsis - Unique Hybrid - NBS

Description

This is an exciting hybrid, where the parents (shown in the flower photos) have quite different flowers. Den. alexandrae is the green flowered species with spots and stripes on the lip, Halloween-esk with its twisty petals and creepy demeanor, and Den. phalaenopsis is the purple flowered species with nice rounded flowers. Its hard to guess what characteristics will come through in the flowers.

Both are vigorous species, however, meaning now matter what color the flowers are you're sure to get plenty! Just keep it in bright light (South or West window with several hours of direct sun) in a warm spot.

You will get the plant shown or one similar in size. They have recently been potted up to 4" pots. They should mature to flowering size and bloom for the first time within a year or two.
