1920s inspired handmade wool tweed cloche by NVL with gold silk detailing and 20s glass buttons

I have always love the cloches of the late 1920s. They fit close to the head, and deep over the eyes and are *perfect* if you dont want to do your hair.

This soft cloche I designed and made the pattern from looking at many 20s hats. I wanted it to have a very period feel as if it stepped from the era.

It has 3 pleats that open and flair at the sides. The wide band is silk (also the lining) and is arranged into a lovely flourish on the side with three 20s glass buttons added as the finishing touch.

Ive designed the pattern to fit larger heads and those with a lot of hair. If your normal head size is 23"-24", this will fit you fine.
Please keep in mind this cloche was designed to be worn in a period correct way, over the forehead, brushing the eyebrows. If your head size is smaller than the ones listed, it might be large on you.

I use high quality fabrics and many vintage techniques to make my creations. More designs to come, including VEGAN (linen and cotton) versions yay!
