1950s Pale Blue Cocktail Dress Linen Bow

Description

A subtle, flattering shade of blue with a slight grey cast so as not to be too pastel. Cumberbund style waist line with heavily needleworked accents along the sides to create a more visual waist line. Designed for the fuller busted woman, this piece has a large bow on the left hip to create balance, and a slightly v neck back (ends between shoulder blades) for a bit of extra wow. Back zip, no labels, unlined, unknown natural materials- though feels like a nubby organic cotton, linen, or silk blend. Very good vintage condition, a few pulled threads here and there, mostly on interior. c. late 1950s - 1960s.
