Kokeshi doll. BSG inspired custom. Six

Description

Battlestar Galactica is my all time favorite television show. This kokeshi doll was inspired by the style of this epic drama.
These custom hand painted works of art are my tribute to the amazing saga that is BSG. Enjoy !

DETAILS:

one BSG inspired Kokeshi doll...

the doll itself is made from 2 separate wood pieces...
each piece is sanded down & connected by wooden dowel; to allow for movement of the head...

each doll is individually hand-painted using acrylic paints, then signed & dated by the artist; muluc of temple 7e...

SIZE:

doll head is 2" diameter...
doll body is approximately 2 1/4" high...
all together dolls measure between 4-4 1/2" tall...

*Artist's Note*... i usually make at least two kokeshi of each design at a time... there may be a subtle variation in pattern or detail of the one you receive, not affecting the overall theme.

please note that these dolls are not intended for small children...
these are works of art for display, and not intended for play :)
