CORSET - Custom Plain Victorian Underbust or Waist Cincher

Description

Custom, Victorian style underbust corset, constructed with two layers of cotton corset coutil. It will have spring steel boning throughout, a spring steel busk, and a lacing panel. Cotton twill tape is used to re-enforce the waistline.

If desired, spring steel busk may be left out, or replaced with front lacing, buckle, zipper, or faux closure.

Additional cover materials (linen, silk, brocade, satin), special decorations (boning accents, floss over the bone tips, embroidery, etc.), and decorative embellishments (applique, ribbonwork, cutwork, multi-layer fabric, etc.) are available via alchemy. All of my work is 100% custom from design to completion, and all ideas are welcome.

I need a small set of measurements (please look at the measurement diagram).
- underbust measurement
- lowest rib measurement
- waist measurement
- point-of-hip measurement
- hip measurement
- distance from the waist to the underbust
- distance from the waist to the lowest rib
- distance from the waist to the point-of-hip
- distance from the waist to the hip

Different people cinch into corsets differently, so if you have worn a corset or bodice before, please indicate your comfortable waistline reduction. Otherwise, I will reduce the waist measurement by 2"-4", depending upon your natural measurements. If you absolutely do not want any waist reduction, please specify, but I strongly recommend a small amount of waist reduction to help prevent shifting and chaffing during wear.

This corset requires a non-refundable deposit of $35 for materials.

After I have received the deposit, measurements, and cover specifications, please allow one month for me to make your corset. After it is complete, the full sale price is required before it will be mailed. If requested, I will be happy to provide in-progress photos, as well as a photo of the completed corset.

If you need the corset sooner than one month, please send an alchemy request with your desired deadline and other information. Depending upon my current workload, the deadline, and your design needs, I might be able to do a rush order for an extra fee. This is open to negotiation, except that I will not agree to a deadline that does not allow me time to create a quality garment.
