Tweet - Lampwork Focal Birdy Bead - Carlabeads

Tweet, Tweet, Tweet! This birdy is singing away in the treetops... at least that's what I imagine he's doing. :) This cute focal bead was made on a base of ivory, the tree was made using a special glass which contains a lot of fine silver, and turns different colors with an irridescent sheen. Sitting on the branch singing away is a cute little blackbird. Both sides of the bead have this design, each slightly different. This bead would be a gorgeous focal in your beaded creation, or would look great as a simple pendant on a chain or cord.

The Details -

This bead was made by me in my home studio on a 1/16" mandrel. It measures approx. 19mm hole to hole and 18mm across.

As with all of the beads in my shop, this bead has been properly kiln annealed, cleaned and inspected.
