Handcarved Eraser Stamps - Egyptian Hieroglyphs

Description

These are handcarved rubber stamps carved from a pink eraser, almost 2 x 0.5 in (5 x 1.5 cm), featuring two designs based on ancient Egyptian art: the Eye of Horus, and a scarab beetle rolling the sun above its head. They are not mounted, but are fairly thick and easily held, so mounts should not be necessary. The images have been stamped a few times to ensure that the images are clear, but this will not affect the quality of the stamps. They clean easily with a damp cloth or successive stampings, but should be treated gently.

These original designs are perfect for cardmaking, scrapbooking, or even just adding a special little touch to your notes and stationary. They would make a perfect gift for any ancient history buff.

I will mail the stamps First Class via USPS to your Etsy address once payment has been received. I do ship internationally, but please be aware that customers must be responsible for customs fees.
