Fascinating little vintage painting
Description
This is an adorable little vintage painted.Painted on ceramic / pottery frame, it depicts an Italian scene. The title appears on the frame, but I am not sure there is a signature. It is hand painted, and has been coated with something matt to protect the image.
It's very awesome. Reminiscent of 1950's 1960's. I do not know when it was produced however. The back has two holes for hanging. I believe it originally had one hole, but the artist painted the image upside down, so had to make another? My detective work sucks, but this is a really neat hand made treat!
Thread some wire through and you're all set. Upside down, or right side up! he he.
Measures
21cm long x 15cm wide.
Approx 2cm deep.
