Bird named RUBY and her worm pal SHERMAN

Description

Your basic “UgLee” is made of muslin. I toss the bolt on the ground, grab a pencil and start sketching out my design. I don’t use a pattern. Sometimes I cut two at a time, but, I never sew them the same. Kind of like having twins … you pop them out at the same time, but they don’t look the same in the end.

From there the design is cut, sewn, clipped, turned, stuffed with polyfill and painted with acrylics. This part is a blast. I LOVE mixing colors and layering. Sometimes it is hard to stop. I never really feel like a piece is finished.

Once the painting part is done I add the glitter, wire and any other bling I am compelled to add. I finish with the eye ball. This is where all the magic happens. THIS is where each creation comes alive. THIS is when I know what the name will be and his/her personality screams out.

To finish it off I spray each piece with a sealer that has a bit of a gloss/sheen to it, add I loop on the back for hanging, sign, date and tag. Each piece is photographed for my portfolio and uploaded to sell.

This is Ruby and her bestest pal EVER named Sherman.
Ruby and Sherman have been together for over 3 months now. They met at the local strip club. I won't mention the name.

Sherman was there for "business" wink, wink. Ruby was one of the dancers, that came out later in the evening, when the patrons were really smashed, so they wouldn't notice the huge, hairy wort on her bum.

Sherman didn't care about that big old wart. He saw her big knockers and decided she was the one for him.

That is pretty much all I can tell you. I think they are flying off to Vegas for one of those Elvis weddings.

Ruby measures 10" wide and 5" tall.
Sherman measures 2" wide and 3" tall.
