In my opinion, acytylcholine is the best neurotransmitter you've never heard of.Acetylcholine is important for learning, memory, and dreaming. During the day, acetylcholine helps us focus on the task at hand. At night, acetylcholine re-enters our brains during the REM (or dreaming) sleep. I imagine that artists like novelists have a lot of acetylcholine, which gives them a focused day-life and a rich dream-life.
I have paired my charm (~1 inch long) based on the shape of the acetylcholine molecule with a circular charm (.5 inches) that has the word "dream." They hang together on a 16 inch chain that closes with a lobster clasp. It is all sterling silver and comes in a gift box with an informative tag about acetylcholine.
